Window Project

This project was huge! It took up the whole East side of the studio building and we used basically every window on that wall. We were asked to build something capturing 2 moments of light. As well as designing for our own window, we needed to keep in mind our neighbors. I think we did well as a whole. I did pretty well to, I think. I had something else going on at the beginning, but then made it better as I went along in the process. My inspiration was the Stoa. I really enjoyed the angles made by the light that came through the columns, and I wanted to replicate that. On the sides of mine (to further incorporate my individual design with the others around me), I used bond paper with cut outs to coordinate with Audra's (the diagonal) lines. I think that all of ours can make an impact on their own, but then also work together. We were asked to do a sketchup model for this project to, and I am slowly finishing. Since this is my first time using the program, I am going to need more help than I thought. The first is the physical project. The second is my first few hours attempt. And the third is my final product on sketchup.
